    Global Mobility Manager -  

    Varian is looking for a business minded, creative problem solver to lead our Mobility Program. The ideal candidate will:
    • Lead the design and strategy for the Global Talent Mobility Program (Relocation, International Assignments and Immigration) for Varian, including program and policy design, execution, and assessment of program offerings
    • Administer US contingent workforce program and vendors
    • Responsible for overseeing Varian’s Talent Mobility Program (Relocation, Immigration and International Assignments)
    • Design guidelines, improve and implement process, programs, and administration of the mobility program working in close collaboration with Recruiting, HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, Tax, and external vendors
    • Manage the relocation/expat vendor to ensure SLA’s and customer satisfaction is being met as well as conduct on-going performance reviews. Financial management of assignment expenses, accruals, tax compliance and vendor invoices.
    • Partner with recruiting and people operations staff on employee experience projects, process, and policies
    • Update policies and program guidelines ensuring industry competitiveness and compliance with legal, tax and local employment regulation
    • Responsible for all program reporting and analytics
    • Potential to manage additional areas of recruiting operations as needed


    Minimum Qualifications
    •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    •Minimum of 7 years of job-related experience
    •Experience in talent mobility program management
    •Experience in vendor management
    •Strong program/project management skills to see projects through to implementation
    •Superior analytical skills that enable agile and systemic thinking
    •Ability to crate and communicate a vision succinctly across all levels

    •Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
    •Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
    •Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
    •Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
    •Knowledge of Immigration processes and filing requirements
    •Strong project management skills
