    As a Global Mobility Specialist, you will assist with administering Google’s immigration, relocation and international assignment program. You'll manage service providers, prepare international cost estimates, and work closely with the Finance team. You will also serve as the main contact for employees for tax questions related to international assignments. As a member of the Global Mobility group, you will thrive working in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.

    • Manage service providers on all points of execution on relocation and international assignment issues, and work with employees on relocation initiation and execution.
    • Prepare international assignment cost estimates and letters of understanding and take the lead in administering long-term international assignments.
    • Work on standard international assignment tax issues with outside tax provider and serve as primary contact for employee on basic tax questions and detailed assignment requests.
    • Serve as lead manager for service providers focused on relocation and assignment service provision and serve as the key point of contact for Staffing on relocation programs.
    • Liaise with finance colleagues with respect to domestic and international payroll transactions and support the annual tax equalization reconciliation process; communicate necessary payments and deductions to assigned employees.


    Minimum qualifications:

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
    •  5 years of experience in Global Mobility.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Strong financial aptitude to understanding complex budgeting and tax information; experience working for a global tax provider on mobility related cases.
    •  Interest in working on international administrative projects
    •  Comfort with ambiguity and ability to use sound judgment to drive complex issues to resolution and influence others to achieve results
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, by prioritizing and recognizing tasks and situations which require a sense of urgency.
    • Strong oral and written communications skills
