    The Sr. Global Mobility Administrator is responsible for providing a broad range of support for Seagate's Global Mobility program, ranging from supporting relocation, assignment and immigration processes, advising the outsourced 3rd party suppliers with whom we have contractual agreements, as well as partnering with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, management, Legal and Finance to ensure smooth mobility operations in Asia.

    • Serves as the host contact for short term as well as long term assignments in-bound to Asia, ensuring a high level of support and service are provided to assignees.
    • Partners with Seagate Mobility vendors for relocation, incoming international assignees and immigration to ensure outstanding customer service, policy compliance and data integrity.  Gives direction to outsourced suppliers.
    • Works closely with our external immigration firm, or other immigration partners, to ensure company compliance in immigration and to resolve issues. 
    • Advises management and HR staff on current mobility related processes and provides consultation with prospective assignees.
    • Resolves issues arising from the arrival of new assignees and issues that arise with current assignees or transferees.
    • Monitors and produces monthly metrics reports. 
    • Interprets policies and provides guidance and policy interpretation to stakeholders.
    • First level of review and resolution of inquiries outside of policy guidelines, making appropriate recommendations to Global Mobility management.
    • Actively participates in team meetings and calls with relocation services provider and Global Mobility team members from other regions.
    • Prepares input for the HR annual report.  Consolidates assignment and immigration information and develops comprehensive management reports as required.
    • Reviews and processes for payment weekly and/or monthly invoices for expenses incurred by assignees in Asia.
    • Serves as backup to other regional mobility administrators as needed.
    • Performs ad hoc assignment/project work as needed.  


    • Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years experience in Human Resources, International HR/ Global Mobility experience strongly preferred. Candidates with specific experience in Relocation, Immigration, and Long Term International Assignment management are strongly preferred.
    • Must have exemplary customer service skills and be able to work in a fast paced and changing environment.​
    • This position requires excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English skills, and the ability to work effectively and independently with team members and customers at all levels within the organization.​
    • Must have a high tolerance for ambiguity, function in a self-directed manner with high degree of initiative.​
    • Ability to deal with unusual or unexpected issues and multi-task with confidence.​
    • Ability to gather, analyze and interpret data for trending, reporting and presentation purposes.​
    • Must display excellent judgment and problem solving, while operating in a flexible and professional manner.​
    • Must be results oriented with a high sense of urgency.​
    • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and utilize appropriate tact and professionalism.​
    • Ability to influence diverse organizations and drive HR/mobility policy compliance.
    • Excellent team player with the strong ability to partner and collaborate with others.
    • Demonstrated ability to keep accurate, orderly files and records.​
    • Strong systems and computer application skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.  Experience with Google applications and Workday is a plus.            

    This is an exempt/professional level position.
