We are excited to announce some esteemed visitors from the US Government for the BAMM 2023 conference. As part of their "Washington on the West Coast" initiative, we will be joined by Deputy Assistant Secretary for Visa Services Julie Stufft, and U.S. Department of Commerce Deputy Assistant Secretary for Travel and Tourism, Mark Keam.

"Washington on the West Coast" brings senior, Washington-based officials to the Bay Area to better support our organizations and worldwide US commercial objectives.

Their mission is twofold:

• To share some of the work undertaken to enhance visa services and facilitate travel/tourism
• To connect with and hear from our corporate members regarding needs, challenges, and successes related to visa services and travel/tourism

The conference will feature a presentation about their respective missions and what we can expect from the State Department and Commerce Department as the world begins to move again following the global pandemic. Corporate members will also have a chance to provide direct feedback. Corporate members, be on the lookout for more information on how you can provide feedback and have your voice heard!

We hope you'll join us for this special Bay Area session – a rare opportunity for us to communicate directly with such senior officials from the federal government.
