    HubSpot is looking for a Director of Global Mobility & Immigration to lead the company’s global mobility and immigration function. This is a highly cross-functional role working closely with stakeholders across the business. We’re growing quickly and need an experienced leader to help us scale while focusing on candidate attraction and employee retention. This role is remote eligible and can be based anywhere in the U.S. or in one of our EMEA locations (Ireland, UK, France, Germany, Belgium).

    In this role, you will be responsible for:

    • Leading a growing, high performing team of immigration and mobility professionals responsible for HubSpot’s Global Mobility & Immigration function, which supports our temporary mobility program (allowing HubSpotters to work temporarily from other cities or countries around the world), relocations, expatriate assignments, and immigration.
    • Developing, implementing and maintaining our temporary mobility program. This program is new to HubSpot as we seek to provide greater flexibility for our employees in where and how they work. As this is a new program for HubSpot and many other companies, this is a great opportunity to give HubSpot a new competitive advantage in employee attraction and retention. You will be responsible for evolving our strategy and implementing it in a way that solves for corporate and employment tax and other legal compliance considerations while enabling employee flexibility.
    • Creating and operationalizing our mobility policies, including associated enablement and communication.
    • Designing global mobility processes that support scalability and partnering cross-functionally to drive scalability through systems and automation.
    • Establishing and maintaining a service delivery strategy to ensure excellent support for our employees and internal stakeholders.
    • Aligning the efficiency of mobility program effectiveness, costs, administration to overall talent and business strategy
    • Developing and expanding existing policies and practices to ensure compliance and making associated recommendations regarding risk.
    • Keeping up with the ever-changing global immigration and mobility landscape and partnering with external tax, relocation and immigration vendors on associated program changes.
    • Serving as a coach and leader who will help grow team members so they can achieve their career goals.

    We are looking for people who:

    • Relevant mobility and immigration experience at a global scale, with a strong background in corporate and employment tax required.
    • Experience leading a global mobility function is preferred but not required.
    • Expert knowledge of global mobility; working knowledge of immigration. 
    • Have a constant desire to create efficiencies across global operations.
    • Have experience leveraging technology for scale and automation and awareness of mobility technology capabilities.
    • Have experience working collaboratively across teams, harnessing disparate motivations to achieve shared goals.
    • Have experience managing a high performing and diverse team.
    • Are able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced and transparent environment.
    • Are passionate about the values in the HubSpot Culture Code.
