Overview: You will have the responsibility for sales and new business development, using a consultative and innovative sales approach.
Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Working Location: This position is available on a remote basis to those located in Western United States (preferably in California, but open to states such as Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona).
What would your day look like as a Director of Business Development?
- Understanding and focusing on the buyer’s journey and incorporate into a dynamic sales process to prospect and sell
- Utilizing multiple selling methods including written communications, telephone, face-to-face calls, videoconferencing, cold calls, and industry functions, along with industry spheres of influence
- Developing and building business relationships with key decision makers
- Researching market through multiple media sources such as social media, networking, and industry contacts
- Conducting contract negotiations with new clients including the coordination of the contract with appropriate parties and attorneys, presentation of the contract to client and review for accuracy and signatures, and coordination all applicable information for files
- Achieving or exceeding established metrics on a monthly and annual basis and communicate results through the proper management channels
- Developing and signing new business
The qualifications we are looking for in someone include:
- Minimum 5 of experience in business development and proven track record of successful sales, strongly preferred within the global mobility industry
- Experience selling SaaS products is a plus
- Experience working in Salesforce preferred
- CRP or GMS designation preferred
- College degree in business or equivalent experience
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously, as well as be part of a successful team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond resourcefully and constructively to new demands, priorities, and challenges
- Comfortable speaking to internal and external management at all levels
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong consultative skills with ability to reach and challenge
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle
- Willing to travel as business needs require
